When to preorder
The sweet spot is 8–12 weeks before the official Bandai release date. The most popular stores close preorders weeks ahead of launch because they sell their allocation early. If a specific box matters to you (especially OP booster box, premium booster, or anniversary set), preorder early and compare pricing.
What to check before you pay
- Cancellation policy and refunds if the store doesn't receive full Bandai allocation.
- Final price: some stores take a deposit, others charge at shipment confirmation.
- EN vs JP allocation: confirm language and print region before paying.
- Shipping: check whether it goes insured and whether the insurance covers theft/loss.
